Psalms 39:7 AMP
[ ] David made himself a promise, but the pressure continued to build.
In his frustration he realized that there is only one thing that matters.
He poses the question For me what now?
He give an answer that we can draw from. Hope in the Lord.
Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Romans 5:5 AMP
[ ] THIS HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT.
[ ] BECAUSE IT FLOWS FROM A RELIABLE SOURCE.
This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it]—a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells],
